Making Monster Tavern with Toki Games LLC's Chris Nelms
West Chester native Chris Nelms has been passionate about video games for as long as he can remember, and from an early age, he knew he wanted to create games of his own. After earning his degree from Millersville University, Chris began his career working on games for small studios. Along the way, he also built a career as a full-time streamer on Twitch. Drawing on those experiences, he eventually set out to create a game of his own: Monster Tavern.
Monster Tavern is the winner of Best Deckbuilder from TooManyGames Indie Showcase in 2026.The game is a roguelite deckbuilder where drinks are your weapons and monsters are your guests. Draft your deck, build powerful combos, and try to survive three chaotic weeks behind the bar.
